Manufactured by Surgeon Rifles, the Surgeon 591 Short Action is machined from a solid piece of billet steel and comes with equipped with an integral 20 MOA rail and recoil lug. The fluted 2 lug bolt features a small diameter (.062") firing pin for optimized use in high pressure calibers. Based off of the Remington 700 footprint, the Surgeon 591 works with Remington 700 triggers and fits in most stocks and chassis inlet for the Remington 700.
