The Kestrel Elite with Applied Ballistics is arguably the most sophisticated hand held ballistic calculator available. With the ability to integrate with laser range finders and mobile devices via Bluetooth, the Kestrel Elite w/ Link can feed real time atmospherics and ballistic data to different devices. The Applied Ballistics model also has the ability to use custom drag models or G1/G7 BCs from the full AB Ballistics Lab.
With built in real time atmospheric sensors, the Kestrel Elite is able to feed real time temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, and wind to the Applied Ballistics calculator. This gives the ballistic solver accurate data as atmospheric conditions change, enabling the shooter to make accurate shots on target.

Tremendous field instrument for providing ballistic firing solutions. Storage is large and useful. Easy to see display in all lighting conditions. Firing solutions have a remarkable degree of accuracy. My only negative is the instructions are a touch loquacious. I had rather they be numbered, one sentence steps.
