The MDT 6BR short action AICS-pattern metal magazines were manufactured by MDT from high strength steel, nitride-finished and coated with Cerakote Elite for ultimate durability and performance. Ideal for the 6BR family of cartridges cartridges, the MDT 6BR Short Action Magazines are available in 10 and 12 round capacity. These magazines are designed with a unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design for reduced overall height compared to standard AICS style magazines and include spacer in the rear of the magazine

With the addition of the ALTUS +2 6BR/Dasher base pad (Black), the MDT 6BR Short Action Magazine has an increased capacity of +2 rounds for a maximum capacity of 14 rounds. The ALTUS +2 base pad also relieves some of the spring tension in the magazine, thus often times eliminating the "hard first round" cycling that can be experienced when shooters load the magazine to 12 rounds.
