The MDT AICS-pattern metal magazines were manufactured by MDT from high strength steel, nitride-finished and coated with Cerakote Elite for ultimate durability and performance. Ideal for short action calibers like the .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor family cartridges, the MDT Short Action Magazines are available in 12 round capacity. These magazines are designed with a unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design for reduced overall height compared to standard AICS style magazines.

  • 2.870” max cartridge overall length (COAL) with binder plate
  • 2.960” max cartridge overall length (COAL) without binder plate (see limitations below)

    These magazines have worked flawlessly for me on my Terminus actions and allowed my Bighorn Origin action to CRF like it should right from pickup out of the mag where a few others wouldn't. I have a collection of these now and are my go to. Altus ships very fast and have knowledgeable, friendly bunch. A+

    I really like this mag, feeds reliably and smoother than any other mag I've tried so far with 6.5x47L.
