MDT Baker Wings
MDT's Prostaff shooter and multi-national PRS shooter, Andy Baker, is responsible for the design and testing of MDT's Baker Wings.
Baker Wings mount to any M-LOK forend and widen the rifle’s footprint on a bag or barricade, giving the front of the rifle a broad, flat surface to settle into.
That wider contact surface does two things. It gives your support hand a natural place to rest, and helps control how the rifle tracks under recoil so your scope stays on target for spotting impacts and follow-up shots.
Integral grip tape on the underside adds traction on bags and barricade surfaces, and an ergonomic thumb shelf gives your support hand a consistent index point.
The wings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and attach through at least two M-LOK slots. Four mounting holes give you options for positioning them along the forend. An integral QD flush cup lets you attach a sling without adding separate hardware. A notch on the underside clears the AR-15 takedown pin, and on MDT ACC chassis, the wings mount without blocking the ARCA rail.
