Kinetic Research Group (KRG) Whiskey-3 Pro Chassis (Rem 700 SA)
If the Whiskey-3 chassis is the Kinetic Research Group’s flagship, then the Whiskey-3 Pro is the company’s crown jewel.
The Whiskey-3 Pro is an amalgamation of the Whiskey-3 platform blended with elements of the KRG C-4 competition chassis.
The Whiskey-3 Pro adds several features shooters have been asking for and is available with fixed and folding stock versions.
The biggest difference from the Whiskey-3 Pro and the standard Whiskey-3 is found up front:
KRG merged its traditional Whiskey-3 backbone and an extended forend into a single monolithic aluminum piece. An integrated ARCA rail runs along the bottom, so the rifle can go straight onto a tripod clamp or an ARCA-mount bipod without adding a separate rail. M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions give you room for barricade stops, sling hardware and other accessories.
At the rear, a newly designed cheekpiece adjusts side to side as well as fore and aft, which lets you get your eye centered behind the scope. Adjustments are tool-less throughout, just like the Whiskey-3 standard chassis.
Folding versions of this chassis allow for the stock to fold to either the left or right–shooter’s choice.
Like every Whiskey-3, the Pro uses precise aluminum bedding for consistent contact between action and chassis, all in a lightweight package. Overall length of the chassis sits at 33" open and 24" folded.
Compatibility Notes
▪Action: Remington 700 short action and compatible clones
▪Actions with trigger hangers will not work without mods to the chassis, hanger, or both.
▪We do not guarantee the proper function of Vudoo V22 or Bergara B-14r (rimfire) magazines in our chassis. It may be necessary to install and fit our Extended Mag Catch for proper feeding.
▪All of our chassis take AICS magazines with nothing extra needed, the magazine is not included.
