Armageddon Gear X-Rail Pad

Armageddon Gear’s X Rail Pad is a smaller and thinner specialized shooting bag designed specifically to clamp onto Area 419’s popular Railchanger X device.

The demand for the X Rail Pad has finally reached a point that prompted Armageddon Gear to start manufacturing this bag regularly and offer it as a standard catalog item.

X Rail Pads themselves are constructed from Armageddon Gear’s signature sturdy double waxed canvas material and measure 9 inches long by 5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Canvas color is tan and the X Rail Pad can be had with either a sand fill (8lbs) or a bead fill (3.2 lbs).

The Railchanger X from Area 419 is an Arca based stabilizing platform that fastens beneath a rifle. It has a clamping mechanism specifically designed to grab and pinch shooting bags so that rifles can be quickly deployed over barricades or other shooting surfaces with the bag already in place. The clamping mechanism allows for different size bags to be attached to the unit. For tripod shooting scenarios, bags can be easily decoupled and the Railchanger X can conveniently be mounted via a short span of Arca rail to a tripod.
