Zermatt Arms Origin is an economically priced custom action that utilizes many features included in the Zermatt line of actions. Coupled with a cut-rifled stainless or carbon prefit barrel from PROOF Research, you have a friendly priced barreled action made with parts from industry leaders like Zermatt Arms and Proof Research. The Origin/PROOF Research barreled actions will ship assembled and barrel left stainless.

The Zermatt Origin features the same footprint as the Remington Model 700 action and is compatible with most Remington 700 inlet stocks, chassis, and triggers.
The Zermatt Origin comes standard Remington style feed lips for ADL/BDL (hinged floor plate) setups as well as all AICS pattern magazines to max COAL's of 2.980". All Origin actions are cut with the Zermatt Arms trim tang which is most similar to Remington 700 actions. The Origin bolt handle is also swept to mimic the Remington 700 as well.
Fans of Zermatt Arms actions will be an even bigger fan of the PROOF Research chambered pre fit barrels designed for the Zermatt Origin action. PROOF's Origin prefit barrels will arrive threaded/chambered and with 5/8x24 muzzle threads.
