Bighorn Arms TL3 actions are the next generation of products from the superb Bighorn Arms lineup. The original TL actions set the standard in custom rifle actions for repeatability, ease of use by the gunsmiths, and demonstrated class leading accuracy. The floating bolt heads allow easy cartridge size swap and multi-caliber use in a single receiver for a versatile "do it all" rifle.
Following the original TL came the TL2 action, which featured an integral recoil lug, pinned scope rail, additional tang options, and a Remington 700 footprint for use in standard-inlet stocks and chassis.
Beginning as an evolution of the TL2, the TL3 action retains the ultra-repeatable, beautifully machined quality that shooters became accustomed to with the earlier TL and TL2 versions. In addition to this, the TL3 also comes with the added benefits of:

Best in the biz
Not one complaint with my TL3. Prefit barrels, dlc coating, controlled feed, floating bolt head. I like that it has a rounded body like a traditional 700

Bighorn TL3
Exactly what I've come to expect from Bighorn Arms. This my 3rd action from them. The first two are Origins. They continue to meet and exceed my expectations. Shout out to Altus Shooting Solutions. Outstanding in every aspect.

Bighorn TL3
Have been interested in trying out a TL3 for a few years now. I'm still fine tuning load developement and only have 60 rounds down the tube but this has become my favorite action. It is already breaking in and has smoothed out substantially. I would put this on par with any "custom" action. I love the ability to swap bolt heads and barrels and be running a new caliber in just a few minutes. With wait times and prices on barrels these days it's huge to be able to run savage prefits. Even if you prefer the shouldered barrel you can be running a barrel nut and savage prefit while you wait on the new one. It's currently running 6 creed out of MDT metal and AI Mags flawlessly, I did have to open the feed lips on the AI mags slighlty. Big Horn also carries cocking pieces that allow you to Tune the action to your trigger of choice. They sent me a -25 cocking iece to time perfectly with my trigger tech. You will not be dissapointed with a TL3.

Great action, plus altus is a one stop shop
This is my 2nd TL3, went to the NLR shoot in Nebraska in May of 19, and compared this against Impact and the Fuzion. I went with the TL3 DLC because of the control feed. The Impact and Fuzion are crazy smooth, but when the wind picked up (from 20mph to about 40mph) a couple of the other receivers failed, and the TL3 just kept shooting. I shoot a 6BR and it just works. Nothing fancy, it just works...I do have the SS version, and it is not as smooth as the DLC action. Lucas gun grease makes both actions almost as smooth as the other 2 actions. Altus was great do business with, and will be sending more business their way. They offered the Bighorn action bar, and that’s what closed the deal with me. If you do get this action, and run a shouldered prefit, it makes a world of difference. The standard remmy action bar does not work with the TL3 because of the way the ejection is set up. I took mine apart on my SS TL3 to make it work. One last thing, the bolt knobs and the knurled bolt knob. I thunked it came with the smooth one, but I do like it.

Very solid action. Well machined. Bolt runs smooth. My trigger dropped right in. It did come with the trigger pins. You won't be disappointed.
