    Great Time

These matches are great; there's a good mix of challenging stages and some "easier" ones. First time shooters get help if they need it, it's a great group.

    Practiscore Posting

I’m a member of ALTUS range, and love the range, the people, and the matches. I only rated 4 stars because there is an efforts to coordination match schedule between all of the matches in the panhandle area and at ALTUS. It’ll be simpler to see available ALTUS matches on Practiscore. It is convenience to register for a match at a single source, and easier to keep up with all of the matches that individual has registered. One can download match rule, stage brief, and stage diagram, if available.

    First 2 gun match!

Posted by Zach Siekert on Jun 8th 2020

This was the first time I shot a 2 gun match. I’ve shot other matches (USPSA, Steel Challenge) and wow this was a blast! The crew at Altus really knows how to put on a great match. They have stages set so it felt like the progressively got more difficult but not so difficult you get frustrated. The stages were very dynamic and made you think before you actually ran it. I’ll be back out for the June 13th match for sure!!

    Awesome 1ST Match!!!

Posted by Christopher DeCarolis on Feb 8th 2020

Today was my first time doing anything outside of square range plinking, with zero training. Vertical learning curve with a lot of help from the more experienced shooters. Had so much fun that I'm about to register for the rest of the year!! If you're on the fence, just give it a shot. You won't regret it.

    2Gun Challenge

Possibly the best competition I have ever been to. Well worth the 4.5 hour drive to be apart of. From the time I originally arrived to the completion of the course, I felt welcomed. Everyone was helpful to answer questions, give pointers, encourage and drive the competition. The ranges and atmosphere is worth every moment of drive, and at a reasonable price. I will be back!
