The Defiance AnTi action is a stainless action that has had lighter cuts around the trigger area, recoil lug, side of the rear bridge with a hollowed bolt handle and deep spiral flutes on the bolt body to obtain a weight comparable to an action with a titanium receiver. It’s a very good action to use for a build if you are wanting to build a lightweight rifle. I recently completed a rifle built on a AnTi action with Proof Research carbon fiber barrel and AG composites stock that tipped the scales at 5 pounds 12 ounces. This was with a BDL floor plate. A great action if you want something that has the weight of titanium without the drawbacks.
