  • ALTUS Advanced Competitive 2-GUN Course

The ALTUS Advanced Competitive 2 Gun Course is a unique and challenging course that is structured to give shooters the knowledge and skill set to progress in a competitive environment. The course will be conducted primarily in a series of USPSA, Steel Challenge, and 2-Gun style stages where students will be evaluated and coached repeatedly through each simulation.

Students who lack basic marksmanship skills are recommended to attend a ALTUS Intro to Pistol course and or ALTUS Intro to Carbine course. Come Ready to Train!

Posted by Will M. on Sep 24th 2018

Bottom line, it was a great course. I learned a lot, I’m a better shooter for having attended, and I took away a lot of things to work on in dry fire and range practice. Great ranges, lots of steel, great support, and excellent student to instructor ratio. The course content covered everything from fundamentals to advanced techniques, and was reinforced by shooting stages created specifically for the course. Rodney’s tireless enthusiasm is infectious and motivated our class in spite of the unseasonable heat. Rodney did an excellent job working with and challenging shooters of varying skill levels. Rodney and Betty managed to provide both collective and individual instruction along with tailored constructive feedback on our efforts. Come prepared to shoot, because Rodney will train as long as you keep getting after it. Your hands might get a little sore if you’ve been off your guns awhile, but you will see the rewards!

    eye's on

I've been competing in 2 gun for about 18 months now . But when your in a competition you don't always have eye's on you watching with intent to inform you what you could have done differently to improve your time . With this class you have a top notch instructor with eyes on you . If there are area's that you know that you struggle with ( texas star for example) Rodney will work with you on that to improve your ability and confidence to overcome . This is not the first nor will it be the last training class that I take with Rodney.
I will take this class again .
