The ALTUS 2Gun Challenge Series aims to provide shooters of all levels the ability to practice and improve their practical and realistic firearms handling/shooting in a controlled environment. With a primary focus on marksmanship precision under moderate physical challenges and time capped stages to simulate stress, the ALTUS 2Gun Challenge Series rewards shooters that are best able to neutralize all intended targets in an accurate and efficient manner. Altus 2Gun Challenge Series matches are a steel only 2gun (Pistol/Carbine) Competition with target engagements from 5 to 350 yards and will consist of 6 individual stages. (Round count is expected to be 150 pistol / 200 carbine, but bringing additional ammo is recommended.)

NOTE WORTHY:
**If you register multiple shooters for this competition, please notify the MD at time of sign in.

**We do not accept walk ups day of the match.
**The match has no divisions and is an open shoot match.**
HARDWARE:
Trophies will be distributed to the following places after each match.
1st Place over all shooter
2nd Place
3rd Place
Top Senior (55 and older)
Top Military/LEO shooter (Active Duty)
Top Lady shooter
SERIES SCORING AND FINALE:
Each shooter who competes in the series will have their two best finishes in the series totaling (60%) of their score going into the finale each season with will be weighted at (40%).
EXAMPLE: Match Score 1 (30%) + Match Score 3 (30%) + Finale Score (40%) = (100%) and Shooter’s Final Series Standing.

2 Gun Challenge Series
This is my first year competing in any type of shooting event. The guys at Altus are more than willing to help anyone who decides take up this tacticle sport. The facilities are amazing and the staff puts together very challenging stages. Since this is a physical competition I would like to see the elimination vehicles and wagons once the match starts. Everything needed for a 5 or six stage match should be carried. The distance between stage locations is not that great and I believe the walk between stages adds to the stamina required to compete. I'm a purest I guess. I'm looking forward to the next match in May. Thank you Kirk Cecale.

My first 2 Gun match at Altus was a great time! Awesome course of fire, and great folks willing to help the new guy. Recommended to everyone... just bring a magnified rifle optic if you're over 40!

These matches are great; there's a good mix of challenging stages and some "easier" ones. First time shooters get help if they need it, it's a great group.

I only rated 4 stars because there is an efforts to coordination match schedule between all of the matches in the panhandle area and at ALTUS. It’ll be simpler to see available ALTUS matches on Practiscore. It is convenience to register for a match at a single source, and easier to keep up with all of the matches that individual has registered. One can download match rule, stage brief, and stage diagram, if available.

So much fun, I’ve been doing them for about a year now and I love the setup of these competition. I highly recommend them.
